Drew B. Morgan is a lifelong devotee of stories across all mediums, though her heart belongs to novels. While she writes across genres, her work is typically rooted in the speculative with threads of romance either hidden in or defining the tapestry.

As a reader, her tastes are broad but most commonly fall between fantasy of all stripes and contemporary romance. Some of her favorite titles include Robin Hobb’s Liveship Traders, Leigh Bardugo’s Six of Crows, Catriona Silvey’s Meet Me in Another Life, Erin Morgenstern’s The Night Circus, and Julia Whelan’s Thank You for Listening.

Born and raised in Oregon’s Rogue Valley, she moved north in pursuit of the rain and an education in Psychology and Writing at the University of Washington. She now lives in Olympia, WA with her husband, who shares her love of speculative fiction. Their three cats can usually be found snoring atop her bookshelves while she writes. When not reading or writing, spends her time gardening, crocheting, playing tabletop games with friends, or yelling at the Seattle Mariners.
